The Painful Reality Of Loving Someone Who Never Did.
It is over.
It happened so fast or maybe it happened so slow as if time kept pausing at the wrong moments.
As if it was warning you of what was about to come.
And now you go through the motions of life without your person, the one who you thought maybe in another lifetime you would grow with.
He is gone.
Left with barely a goodbye text message and you are honestly trying not to think about it.
Or maybe you think about him all the time trying to figure out what went wrong.
Why did he leave?
Was it something you could have prevented or something he should have made the effort to prevent if he actually loved you.
Either way he is gone but still he haunts you.
Your mind struggles not to miss him but your heart continues to love him.
It continues to cherish those memories, those little moments between you and him.
Because it was the smaller things in life that you enjoyed the most.
Eventually, you are going to have to delete the photos and throw away those love notes.
There will come a time when you are going to have to put a stop sign on your love for him because life goes on and you need to heal.
The wounds on your heart have to close and your life has to go on at some point because you may see him again.
And the painful truth is that he will most likely move on and may even revel in any feeling you still have for him.
You will have to tell him that you are ok and that you can live without him.
It is painful but it is necessary because at the end of the day you only have yourself to depend on so make sure to love yourself too.
